Um, I know it's an old game but do any of you play Animal Crossing on the DS? I just started but maybe we could, you know, hang out in each others' towns. Or maybe you have an old save somewhere and even though you don't play anymore you have some fruit you could send me. Or we could trade! I have oranges and coconuts.

Here is how I think you do it:

Go to your town gate and talk to the guards. They will tell you how to connect via wifi. You have to give them my friend code, and ask them what your friend code is so that you can tell me. Once we have each other on our friend lists we can visit each others' towns!

I don't know if we both have to be online at the same time or not to do it, but we'll find out!

You both have to be online at the same time and you visit each other's town and can run around and whatnot.
I don't think you can just send mail to a person...

that's strange because i am always on aim...and i'm pretty sure i didn't delete you from my list (and I checked settings you would still be able to message me if you weren't in my list)
if you can't find me on aim for some weird reason, then send me a message on facebook/twitter and that'll hit my cell phone and i'll wake up

Huh. I bet it's because I've been using AIM through Gmail; maybe that's why there's never more than 3 of my friends online at a time. >_< I'll dl a proper IM client today.

Haha I know! back when this game first came out people on my FL were making posts like, "Today I planted tulips and roses around town square, and then I went to the beach to collect shells." <3
