If only it ended like this...

So a friend of mine asked me what I thought about the last episode of BSG (he watches it on the web and hasn't seen it yet), and I told him it ended pretty predictably. They tied up most of the loose ends, except for one where they basically said, "it's a mystery!!!1" which was kinda lame.

Then he said, "I always thought it'd be cool if..."


Him: I was thinking Starbuck would be the last Cylon, you know?
Me: Yeah, that would have been cool.
Him: And even when it turned out to be Ellen, I still thought that Starbuck could have been an incarnation or a younger version of her. She even had that love/hate relationship with Tigh.
Me: Ooh!


Guys, would that not have been awesome?

I was kind of betting on Caprica being a younger Ellen.

(Look up Rose Darko and see how much better Mary McDonnell looked when she had a real face. I was too distracted 4th season to see her...)

Yeah, I remember Mary McDonnell from when she was in Dances With Wolves, and she wasn't young then either. She had that long-suffering look going on back then too. :P

the last 45 minutes of that episode was so disappointing, to me. i was hoping maybe starbuck was ellen and tigh's frakking kid or something. but NO. she is just some angel that disappears into thin air. oh, speaking of starbuck! i met katee sackhoff last year at comic con. i'll post pics!
